The Sag Harbor American Music Fest is my favorite music festival on the east end of Long Island. SHAMF loves original music and the sound is outstanding. You can feel it deep down. Julee Fish took this shot of my Larivee C-10 at the fest right before I cracked it down the middle (too much air drumming). We were honored to close out the fest. The Larivee got patched up and is better than ever.
Jane Martin took this photo one afternoon in Shelter Island, NY at a music fest at Sylvester Manor. It was a co-bill with Nancy Atlas & Gene Casey. I love how she captured the untamed hair.
After medical challenges and the wheels coming off the bus, we re-imagined Shelter in Place at the last minute to play it down on acoustic guitars with Jeffrey’s custom made cajon. The show featured Jeffrey Smith, B. Rehm-Gerdes and Jeff Marshall. (My appendix lasted until the last note was played on the tour. Mike G. is now better than ever).

B. & I played a show inside of a labyrinth at the Platte River Parkway on the International Day of Peace. The location is a former superfund site. Anything is possible and was a perfect metaphor for ‘Peace Day’.
I was invited to perform/present at the Wyoming Women Expo to celebrate women and their right to vote in Wyoming – a first in the nation. The discussions that day inspired many of the ideas behind the ‘Free’ video.
‘Big Blue’ the Buick was the tour mobile once again in March for a two-week run in late winter. The tour featured Jeffrey Smith and B. Rehm-Gerdes.
Shelter in Place, Inda?s 8th independently produced album is a stunning mix of emotionally charged anthems, ballads, and boot-stompers, featuring B. Rehm-Gerdes, Michael Gugliemo, Jeff Marshall and Jeffrey Smith (with special appearances by Eve Nelson, Nancy Atlas, Lee Lawler and Rose Lawler). This collection of eleven story-rich songs highlights the power of human connection and offers a dashboard-drumming, heart-healing journey through life, death, laughter and love.
Casper was directly in the vortex of the 2017 Solar Eclipse. Jeffrey & I met in Denver and drove up as there were no flights left. People were camping in driveways, grilling in parking lots.
